Under routine supervision, this position performs intermediate‑level maintenance, service, and repair of J.B. Hunt tractors and other equipment.

• Shadow senior technicians to learn to perform repairs to company and manufacturer specifications.
• Complete work orders and train to be efficient in standard repair times (SRT) and warranty guidelines.
• Understand and follow all shop safety procedures.
• Maintain professional communication with J.B. Hunt personnel and customers.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance, replacement of parts/components, and basic repair of air brake systems.
• Execute FHWA inspections.
• Work across multiple shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have basic tools or be willing to purchase through our toolbox program.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must wear mandatory protective gear/PPE.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Effective communication (transmit, receive, interpret ideas).
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Team player and independent worker.
• Proficient with computer and Microsoft Office.
