Overview

Roadside Technician - Commercial Tires, Conley, GA. Starting pay for the market: $18-25 hourly. The role is an emergency response tire technician for semi-truck fleets. When a customer has a tire-related failure, a Technician is dispatched to the customer's location to repair or change the tire. This position is expected to be roadside when performing duties. When no service calls are pending, Technicians will assist with mounting orders, clean and organize the shop, and perform other general duties as needed.

• Respond to after-hours service requests and participate in a mandatory on-call rotation; evenings and weekends may be required with premium pay and guaranteed minimums.
• Repair or change tires at customer locations, including dismounting, mounting, and repairing tires.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflate tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including wearing proper PPE, using tire cages, and following all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with mounting orders, and keep the shop clean and organized when not on service calls.

• Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous Commercial Service Tire experience preferred
