CDL A Truck Driver

Anthony Marano Company, one of the most reputable produce distributors in the South East, is currently hiring for a full time & in person CDL A Truck Driver role in Atlanta, Georgia
.

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage routes effectively. The Truck Driver will operate various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, ensuring timely delivery of products.

• Operate and drive various types of trucks such as tractor-trailers and box trucks.
• Load and unload cargo safely using appropriate equipment. (Touch Freight)
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and deliveries.
• Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
• Assist in the training of new drivers as needed.

• CDL A Driving: 2 years (Required)
• CDL A (Required)
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 2 years of experience with CDL-A truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving principles.
• Open to work 6-day schedule.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
• Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
