Position: Truck Driver CDL B Home Daily

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class B CDL Truck Driver in Forest Park, GA — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Pay & Schedule
  • Weekly pay $1,000 or more; hourly pay $26.00 per hour
  • Hours per week 40‑50; schedule Monday‑Friday with some Saturdays
  • Start time 6:30 AM – paid training included
Route & Equipment
  • Run in: GA; route: home daily with some overnights
  • Tractor type: straight truck; equipment: pallet jack, lift gates, hand truck
  • Freight: heavy touch—copiers and printers; driver responsible for assembly and setup; customer service required

Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Provide a Class A or B CDL and relevant endorsements
  • Pass a Ryder drug test, background and motor‑vehicle check, DOT physical, and Ryder road test
  • Experience:

    9 months in past 3 years, or 2 years in past 5 years, or 5 years in past 10 years (tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle)
  • Ability to follow written/oral instructions; read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Note

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor‑vehicle records check, a road test, and/or badging or background requirements of the customer.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining accurate records and logs
  • Loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
  • Performing other duties as assigned
