Position Description
Ryder is hiring a Class B CDL Truck Driver in Forest Park, GA — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.
Pay & Schedule- Weekly pay $1,000 or more; hourly pay $26.00 per hour
- Hours per week 40‑50; schedule Monday‑Friday with some Saturdays
- Start time 6:30 AM – paid training included
- Run in: GA; route: home daily with some overnights
- Tractor type: straight truck; equipment: pallet jack, lift gates, hand truck
- Freight: heavy touch—copiers and printers; driver responsible for assembly and setup; customer service required
- Medical, dental & vision after 30 days
- 80 hours PTO in first year, starting Day 1 (use it or get paid)
- Uniforms, cell phone & boot allowance provided
- Drivers are the Captain—make safety decisions; job is protected
- 401(k) rollover available now with company match at 1 year
- 12 weeks paid maternity leave (subject to eligibility)

- 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling at over 800 locations
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Provide a Class A or B CDL and relevant endorsements
- Pass a Ryder drug test, background and motor‑vehicle check, DOT physical, and Ryder road test
- Experience:
9 months in past 3 years, or 2 years in past 5 years, or 5 years in past 10 years (tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle) - Ability to follow written/oral instructions; read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor‑vehicle records check, a road test, and/or badging or background requirements of the customer.
Responsibilities- Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
- Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining accurate records and logs
- Loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
- Performing other duties as assigned
