Job SummaryThe Test Technician will be responsible for performing a wide variety of technical tasks in support of processes, engineering, quality control, calibration, laboratories, production/test environment, line maintenance, and/or chemical handling.
What You Will Do- Test, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install a wide variety of electronic, electro‑mechanical, and mechanical, computer, laboratory, and scientific systems and/or equipment.
- Observe, analyze, and report test data; and when appropriate, make necessary repairs to equipment.
- Work closely from approved procedures, schematics, and drawings to isolate problems between the test environment (test station, interface adapter, test cables, etc.) and the units under test and resolve as necessary.
- Validate the correctness of procedures; select, set up, and operate engineering and scientific equipment.
- Effectively communicate technical issues by generating comprehensive failure entries which correlate failure modes back to the associated test specification(s).
- Interpret test data (plots, graphs, tabulated parameters) to determine pass/fail condition and decide when further analysis is needed.
- Work independently to complete production/acceptance test to interpret pass/fail data to achieve production goals.
- Lift, walk, and may involve stair/ladder climbing at the test range(s).
- Position is a 2nd shift onsite role at the Forest, MS facility.
- HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2‑year post high‑school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience testing electronic circuits and/or identifying failure trends.
- Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) communications or power systems.
- Experience evaluating RF systems and subsystems (transmitter, receiver, antenna, signal/data processor, power supply).
$39,100 - $74,300 USD
