This internship program is designed to empower growth by exploring the dynamic nature of the defense industry throughout Raytheon Operations, Supply Chain & Quality (OSCQ). Throughout the summer, you will be able to expand your knowledge of OSCQ while also gaining unprecedented exposure to leadership along the way.

Manufacturing Electrical Engineers work within production operations and the manufacturing discipline in a controlled environment. They use electrical engineering skills, an understanding of manufacturing (cost, quality, safety, and schedule), and Raytheon systems and tools. As an intern, you will work with manufacturing electrical engineers in these efforts.

What You Will Do

  • Support the design, control, and improvement of the manufacturing process through collaboration with a multi-disciplined team
  • Translate engineering design requirements into manufacturing processes
  • Perform hardware defect analysis
  • Participate in corrective action investigations
  • Support Manufacturing objectives for cost, quality, schedule and safety
  • Support improvement and optimization initiatives within the Manufacturing discipline

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Must be pursuing a degree in Engineering, Math, Science, or Technology and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
  • Experience in manufacturing processes
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Degree focus in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience/Education with technical writing and interpretation of technical documentation
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience
