- Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM ) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience with industrial robots and programing PLC's.
- Experience with industrial vision systems.
- Experience with automation sustainment and troubleshooting, including knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic drawings and schematics.
- Experience with automation cell lifecycle: scoping requirements and deploying new cells
- Active DOD Secret Clearance.
- Experience with deploying complex IIOT based systems.
- Experience with Cognex and/or Keyence vision systems.
- Professional experience with the full life-cycle deployment and integration of automation systems (vision, robotics, servo, controls, etc.).
- Ignition development experience.
- Python or other scripting experience.
- Data analysis experience.
- Strong communication skills including the ability to convey complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of safety regulations (e.g. OSHA) and electrical compliances.
- Experience with control systems design (AutoCAD preferred).
