Raytheon offers Skill Bridge/HOH Fellowship opportunities for transitioning service members to gain an in-depth understanding of the aerospace and defense business. Skill Bridge fellows will not be eligible for any compensation during their fellowship, as they will continue to receive all military pay and benefits. Upon successful completion, they are encouraged to apply for open positions.
Eligibility for Skill Bridge Fellowship- Eligible to participate in Fellowship per DoD Instruction 1322.29.
- Projected to receive an honorable discharge from the military.
- All TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date.
- Approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command.
- Located within a commutable distance or willing/approved to relocate to the job location.
- Assist with system compliance, auditing, security plan development and deliver information systems security education and awareness.
- Assist in investigating information system security violations and help prepare reports specifying corrective and preventative actions.
- Collaborate with facility security team, program personnel, and government representatives.
- Assist with security sustainment activities (hardware change management, software change management, account management, media protection, user interface, file transfers, etc.).
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
- Cybersecurity, systems security or hardening.
- Information Technology.
- Compliance-based auditing using RMF, DCSA Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG), NISPOM, FAA, PCI, ISO 9001, HIPAA.
- Experience with computer technologies (databases, operating systems, hardware, software, troubleshooting, electronics).
- Physical security, police work/criminal justice, investigations, or Border Patrol.
- Project or program management, office management, senior administration, or account management.
- Experience in DoD classified operating and/or laboratory environments.
- Familiarity with RMF and compliance stipulated by NISPOM/DAAPM, JSIG, ICD 503, STIGs, and NIST publications.
- Audit experience with physical security, network and system event logs, password administration, file access privileges.
- Familiarity with cyber incident response management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self‑motivated with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially in documenting evaluation results.
- Customer focused, adaptable and willing to work varying assignments.
- Completion of National Industrial Security Program cybersecurity training courses ((Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).).
