Job Details

Starting Pay: $18.20/hr plus $2.00 shift premium.

Shift D hours:
Wednesday night/Thursday morning 1:00am–7:00am and Thursday, Friday, Saturday nights 7:00pm–7:00am.

• Set up and operate grinding equipment used in the manufacturing of food products.
• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures.
• Use basic hand tools and perform basic mechanical and maintenance functions.
• Maintain a clean work area using soap and a high‑pressure hose.
• Read and complete required logs.
• Communicate with supervisors and co‑workers via two‑way radio.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Operate frontend loader or forklift as required and obtain necessary certification.

• Stand for long periods, lift up to 50pounds, shovel, climb stairs and ladders up to 60feet.
• Bend, stretch, reach, and work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors.
• Frequent exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, outside weather, risk of electrical shock, vibration, and occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Work in a loud noisy environment.

• Minimum waiting period of 180 days before rehire.
• May not have worked more than three times at Tyson Foods.
• Must have a minimum of 6months work history with one employer within the past 12months.
• Preference for operator experience within the last 2years and at least 3consecutive months of such experience.
