Poultry Product Rework Specialist
This position is responsible for reworking poultry products that do not meet quality specifications by inspecting, sorting, trimming, and repackaging product as needed. Team members are expected to maintain product quality standards while working safely and adhering to Tyson Foods policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Inspect poultry product for quality defects, contamination, improper cuts, or packaging concerns.
- Sort and separate product according to quality and production specifications.
- Rework product by trimming, removing defects, and repackaging as required.
- Ensure product meets customer, USDA, and Tyson Foods quality standards.
- Maintain production efficiency while following quality requirements.
- Keep work areas clean and organized throughout the shift.
- Report food safety, quality, equipment, or safety concerns to supervision.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety, and sanitation requirements.
- Assist with cleanup and sanitation activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
This position is part of a production team supporting poultry processing operations.
