Part Time Pay Rate: $14.22 / Hour Job Schedule

- Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and document visitor and contractor activity in accordance with access control protocols.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established site procedures when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify potential security-related concerns, noting that working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Support restricted area access procedures, assist with screening and/or badging processes, and help to deter unauthorized entry through consistent application of post orders and client-directed guidelines.
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
