As a Part‑Time Security Officer in Forest, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as aero/defense and more. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support access control operations that help protect sensitive areas. Visible patrols, outstanding customer service, and communication are integral to daily security‑related operations.

Part Time

$14.22 / Hour

• Mon: 06:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Tue: 06:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, and document visitor and contractor activity to support security‑related operations and access requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and efficiently, communicating with site contacts and first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured access points, or conditions that could impact security‑related procedures.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required following all relevant laws.
• Drug screening required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
