Refrigeration Technician

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Forest, MS. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the Ammonia Refrigeration systems that keep our product fresh. Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair industrial refrigeration systems and equipment.

Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting to identify issues and ensure optimal performance.

Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.

Document all service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.

Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Utilization of Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, Ladders, Fall Protection, and Lock Out Tag Out procedures.

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in refrigeration technology.

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on refrigeration systems.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications Must have a minimum of one (1) years of mechanical work experience documented in the work history section within the past two (2) years). Can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 1 year.

This facility accepts rehires only after 365 days, and having worked less than 3 times.

Must be 18 years or older

Must present valid Identification Must be willing to use basic hand tools

The role requires basic mechanical or maintenance skills knowledge in areas of HVAC, chillers, boilers, and refrigerant (ammonia experience preferred).Must be able to read and understand assignments.

Must be willing and able to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs 120 feet and ladders up to 60 feet, willing to stand for long periods of time, withstand extreme hot, cold, and inclement weather.
