Description
This position is responsible for coordinating trailer and tanker traffic in the receiving yard and maintaining log of product loads while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
TasksApplicants will be considered for any Yard Driver opening. This position requires a current valid State driver’s license. Prefer minimum 3 months experience with trailers and tankers. Must pass Tyson Yard/Lot Driver Assessment. Must have ability to lift up to 50 pounds, shovel, climb stairs and ladders up to 60 feet, bend, stretch, reach, work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors.
Must be able to use basic hand tools and perform basic mechanical and maintenance functions. Maintain clean work area by use of soap and high pressure hose. Must be able to read to complete required logs. Must be able to communicate with supervisor and co-workers via two-way radio. May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. May be required to operate front end loader, man lift, or forklift and will be required to obtain certification to do so.
