As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Construction & Installation to lead multiple projects, oversee project management staff and field teams, and help build the future of our project management organization.

Position Overview

The Project Manager – Construction & Installation is responsible for the planning, coordination, execution, and financial performance of construction and waste handling equipment installation projects. This role oversees multiple concurrent projects while providing leadership to Assistant Project Managers, construction crews, installation teams, subcontractors, and vendors. The Project Manager serves as the primary operational leader for project execution and works directly with executive leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What

You'll Do
  • Manage the full lifecycle of construction and equipment installation projects from award through closeout
  • Develop project schedules, execution plans, budgets, and resource requirements
  • Monitor project performance and proactively address schedule, budget, and operational challenges
  • Lead project kickoff, progress review, and closeout meetings.
  • Directly supervise and mentor Construction and Installation Assistant Project Managers
  • Establish priorities, workloads, and performance expectations
  • Develop future project management talent and support succession planning efforts
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and profitability
  • Review project costs and implement corrective actions when necessary
  • Lead change order identification, pricing, negotiation, and approval
  • Monitor revenue, cash flow, and project margin performance
  • Manage customer expectations and communicate project status effectively
  • Coordinate with sales, service, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Build long‑term relationships with customers and business partners
Safety & Quality
  • Promote a culture of safety and operational excellence
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, company policies, and customer safety standards
  • Maintain quality standards throughout project execution and closeout
Field Operations
  • Provide leadership and oversight for construction and installation field teams
  • Conduct jobsite visits and inspections to ensure safe and efficient project execution
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, subcontractors, and materials across multiple projects
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience within construction, industrial installation, mechanical contracting, material handling, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Experience leading project teams, field personnel, subcontractors
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and contract administration.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly to project sites throughout the region.
  • Valid driver's license.
