As you support 25 students across 10 campuses during the school year, each day offers new environments and challenges, strengthening your instructional repertoire and leadership skills. Desired Qualifications:
- Certified Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI)
- Experience working with K-12 students who are visually impaired
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Flexibility to travel among multiple campuses
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Serve as an itinerant TVI covering 10 campuses on an alternating schedule
- Manage a caseload of 25 students, adapting instruction to each learner's needs
- Maintain documentation, progress reports, and IEPs
- Collaborate with general and special education staff, families, and support personnel
- Provide consultation and training to staff related to the needs of visually impaired students
