Overview

Job Description:

At Bank of America, we are guided by a common purpose to help make financial lives better through the power of every connection. We do this by driving Responsible Growth and delivering for our clients, teammates, communities and shareholders every day. Being a Great Place to Work is core to how we drive Responsible Growth. This includes our commitment to being an inclusive workplace, attracting and developing exceptional talent, supporting our teammates’ physical, emotional, and financial wellness, recognizing and rewarding performance, and how we make an impact in the communities we serve.

Bank of America is committed to an in-office culture with specific requirements for office-based attendance and which allows for an appropriate level of flexibility for our teammates and businesses based on role-specific considerations. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements and related background checks.

Role Path

Advisor Development Program Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (ADP FSA I) begins with obtaining Securities Industry licenses, with dedicated study time for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 exams. After licensure, you will learn foundational skills to be an advisor—acquiring, building and managing client relationships, assessing a client’s financial picture, and guiding them with advice and solutions to help clients live their best financial lives, while humanizing financial interactions.

After milestones are reached, you will work in a financial center delivering Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions and client care. Upon successful completion as an ADP FSA I, progression typically occurs to the Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor (MFSA) role, transitioning to a local Merrill Wealth Management office to build a portfolio of affluent and high net worth clients.

The Academy provides programs, tools and resources throughout the career journey. The ultimate aim is to progress within ADP toward becoming a core Merrill Financial Advisor.

Regulatory and Background Requirements

This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. All employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. You will be required to register and submit to the SAFE Act background check and registration process. Failure to obtain and/or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in immediate termination.
