Hospice Companion Volunteers Needed in Forney, TX
Bristol Hospice Dallas is seeking compassionate and caring individuals to join our volunteer team. Our volunteers provide companionship and support to patients and families during their hospice journey.
What You’ll Do- Offer companionship through friendly visits, reading, sharing stories, or simply being present.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families.
- Provide caregiver relief support for families/primary caregivers.
- Engage in light activities such as playing music, doing puzzles, or writing letters.
- Must be 18 years old or older.
- Have a heart for service and compassion for those at end of life.
- Reliability and commitment to visit patients regularly (schedule is flexible).
- Completion of hospice volunteer training.
- Completion of background check and TB test (arranged by Bristol Hospice).
- Make a lasting impact in someone's life.
- Gain meaningful experience in hospice care.
- Receive ongoing support and training from our hospice team.
- Flexible schedules that fit your availability.
