Materials Analyst

Job Overview

This role is a Materials Analyst for Copeland located in Forney, TX. The analyst will support the management of sub-assemblies and drive improvements in material turns, storage, packaging, and customer delivery.

• Manage MRP to ensure timely receipt of materials to meet production schedules.
• Track the progress of materials and expedite as required.
• Manage Kanban systems to meet production and inventory targets.
• Manage the master schedule to meet demand and inventory targets.
• Manage inventory levels to meet goals.
• Identify and resolve issues that impact on-time delivery.
• Work in conjunction with production, customer service, sales, suppliers, and procurement to meet customer requirements, including short lead times and expedited requests.
• Cross‑train in other positions within the department.
• Other duties/projects as assigned by the Materials Manager.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of experience in Materials Management.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with Lean tools such as Kanban, VSM, pull systems, demand‑driven supply chain, and Perfect Execution strategies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with MS Office Suite and an enterprise resource planning system such as SAP, Oracle, or JDE.
• Legal work authorization in the United States; sponsorship will not be provided.

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Knowledge of ISO QMS.
• Knowledge of Manhattan WMS.

First shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00AM–5:00PM. Distribution center, 13871 W US Highway 80 Frontage Road, Forney, TX75126.
