Experienced Quality Engineer

We are a global climate technologies company engineered for sustainability. As a highly valued member of the Forney, TX Team, this role will support driving quality excellence within the distribution center.

• Serve as the acting Site Quality Leader
• Conduct root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) for non-conformances
• Monitor and audit product quality, packaging, labeling, and documentation compliance
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures for inbound and outbound logistics
• Analyze operational workflows and identify opportunities for quality and efficiency improvements
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen initiatives to reduce waste and improve throughput
• Collaborate with warehouse, inventory, and transportation teams to optimize quality-related processes
• Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve supply chain performance
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and quality metrics
• Support internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory inspections
• Other duties/projects as assigned

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5-8 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in a distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge in 8D/A3 problem solving
• Strong in root cause corrective action
• Experienced in process improvement
• Working knowledge of quality tools and methodologies
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar)
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving processes
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Legal work authorization in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role now or in the future
• Preferred:
  Experience with ISO 9001:2015 and Oracle experience
