American Greetings is a global leader in the celebrations marketplace.

As a Merchandiser with American Greetings, you will work independently across various retail locations, showcasing organization and time‑management skills to display and maintain inventory levels of our celebrations products, including greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, plush, and more.

• The starting pay is $13.50 per hour with two increases during the first year of employment (rates may vary by location).
• After 6 months the pay rate increases to $14.30.
• After 1 year the pay rate increases to $15.00.

The route will service the following retail locations: 11720 E US Hwy 80, Forney, TX, 75126; 11520 E US 80; 654 N Rockwall St, Terrell, TX; 510 S Virginia St, Terrell, TX; 10100 County Rd 373, Terrell, TX; 640 American Way, Terrell, TX.

The weekly average hours are 8 hours per week and may increase to an average of 14 hours around holidays.

• Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising, organizing product orders, displaying products within greeting card departments and other retail locations, maintaining organized back‑room areas, and other inventory tasks as needed.
• Communicate with management regarding service or schedule questions or concerns.
• Work effectively in a fast‑paced retail environment using time‑management and organizational skills.
• Partner and build relationships with store associates and management during daytime business hours.
• Be available for additional working days and extended hours leading up to and after major holidays.
• Provide occasional assistance with store resets, which may include minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal as requested.
• Plan weekly service schedule and workload using a company‑issued tablet.
• Work independently and with a team.

No experience necessary; training is provided.

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Access to reliable transportation; most routes have multiple retail locations.
• Access to reliable internet for job information and updates.
• Technological competency – able to learn and use a company‑provided tablet for training and daily tasks.
• Ability to meet scheduling needs, including occasional weekends and day(s) before and after major holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Work on the sales floor and back stock room. Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and fixtures up to 40 pounds. Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, and squat throughout the day. A step stool may be used for some tasks.
