HVAC - Lead Install Technician

Essential Job Functions

• Perform the removal, installation, and startup of new residential HVAC systems
• Work closely with fellow Installation Technicians to provide clients with excellent service as outlined in department policies and procedures
• Maintain a high standard of clean‑up before leaving any job site
• Ensure all necessary touch‑up work and clean‑up is completed before leaving the job site
• Work as a team with the crew helper to get the job done professionally, efficiently, and in a safe manner
• Request necessary parts and equipment in advance to ensure the installation truck is loaded properly with all materials needed to complete each job
• Be responsible for vehicle upkeep, record logs, and driving of the vehicle; a valid driver's license is required
• Stay up to date on current technologies and new products in the field
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by addressing any questions, concerns, or issues the client may have
• Pre‑measure job sites in order to properly prepare for installation
• Properly connect equipment
• Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures

• Valid driver’s license
• EPA certification
• At least 2 years of HVAC installation experience
• At least 1 year of leadership experience
• Clean driving record
• Time management skills
• Basic software understanding
• Self‑motivation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to use various hand and power tools common to the trade
• Ability to learn through observation and hands‑on experience
• Ability to follow routine, verbal, and written instructions
• Ability to communicate with team members and customers effectively
• Ability to maintain professional working relationships with team members
• Ability to understand, analyze, interpret, and implement ideas contained in technical documents, reports, regulations, etc.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions

• Service Titan experience
• Sales experience
• HVAC service experience

The employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds.

The employee must be comfortable working in tight spaces for an extended period of time in attics and crawl spaces as needed. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts;

outside weather conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

• Hourly + Piece Pay
• Hours 7:00 a.m.
  
  - 5:00 p.m. (flexible start and end times depending on business needs)
