Position Overview

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Forney, Texas, offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,700 - $1,900+ per week
• Guaranteed Weekly Pay: $1,636 per week
• Mileage Pay: $0.57 per mile
• Stop Pay: $16.25 per stop
• Sign‑On Bonus: $3,000

• Paid Training Provided
• Ryder Drivers operate well‑maintained trucks, 36 months or newer, with 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide maintenance locations

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL and required endorsements.
• Class A verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months within the last 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Pass a Ryder drug test, background and motor vehicle check (including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years), DOT physical, and Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures.

• Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days.
• 80 hours PTO first year, starting Day 1 (use or get paid for it).
• Uniforms, cell phone & boot allowance provided.
