Real Truck Distribution Center – Mesquite/Forney TX (New Regional Distribution Facility)

Hours:

6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., plus overtime as needed.

Pay: $18.90 per hour.

The Warehouse Associate 2 will perform tasks associated with shipping, receiving, and the material handling process at Real Truck, including receiving shipments, stocking, inventory control, picking, packing, staging orders, and shipping products, primarily using powered industrial trucks. The associate will operate Cherry Picker, Sit-Down Forklift, Reach Truck, and EPJ, and use RF scanners to receive, pick, and ship orders daily.

• Prepare product for movement throughout the warehouse, including sorting, scanning, repackaging, palletizing, labeling, and wrapping.
• Operate powered equipment to move products safely and efficiently, once certified.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift and report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Assemble component parts into kits; package and label kits; enter kit data into WMS.
• Pick and pack bulk and drop‑ship inventory for shipment according to customer order; stage inventory for shipment; load trailers.
• Unload trailers and receive product, verifying accuracy against PO and packing slip in WMS.
• Scan palletized product wraps and labels according to customer requirements and load pallets onto trailers.
• Receive returned product; verify warranty status; update WMS; prepare product for disposal or return to stock.
• Train other employees; maintain a clean and safe workspace; perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma required.
• 6–12 months of related experience and/or training required.
• 2–5 years of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.

• Driver’s license preferred.

• Skilled in the use of a pallet jack and tape gun.
• Basic computer skills.
• Skilled in the operation of a computer with emphasis on WMS and MS Office.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
