Job Overview
As an Inventory Control Coordinator in our Forney, TX team, you manage and track inventory levels to ensure efficient operations. You oversee the receiving, storage, and shipping of goods, maintain accurate records, and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels, track inventory movement, and manage storage and organization of goods within the distribution center.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities against purchase orders, and store items in designated locations.
- Ensure accurate and timely picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders, coordinating with logistics and customer service as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including receiving reports, cycle counts, and other documentation.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
- Generate regular inventory reports, analyze data, and identify trends or potential issues.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory control processes, increase efficiency, and minimize errors.
- Follow all safety regulations and warehouse protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and technologies.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and troubleshoot issues.
- Strong record‑keeping and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills with team members and supervisors.
- Attention to detail is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Knowledge of Manhattan WMS.
