Material Handler – Forklift Experience Preferred
1st Shift: $20.23/hr Monday – Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm (hours and schedule may vary). All shifts are available.
Key Responsibilities- Receive incoming material or product, identify and place items in the appropriate storage or staging area.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of paperwork, and maintain electronic records in the system and mainframe.
- Locate and deliver material or product to other departments for their use or storage; assist Quality in moving material.
- Perform audits of product and material to confirm proper receipt and complete inventory in storerooms and warehouses.
- Store and deliver packaging materials to other departments as needed.
- Combine product or material on pallets or in containers to prepare for further use or shipment.
- Use pallet moving equipment (stand‑up and sit‑down forklifts, scissor lift, etc.) to transfer material and product to and from trailers and storage areas.
- Assure compliance with all OSHA regulations, safety standards, and company processes and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain and maintain licensing to operate material handling equipment, including reach lift, dock stocker, stand‑up, and sit‑down.
- Flexible work hours and able to work overtime when needed.
- Capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs and standing or walking for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, push, and pull parts or containers frequently.
- Ability to read and understand job instructions.
- Must pass a pre‑employment background check, essential functions assessment, and drug screen.
- Knowledge of Manhattan WMS.
