Receiving​/Inventory Supervisor

BJ's Wholesale Club is seeking a Receiving/Inventory Supervisor to lead backroom and dock operations in our high-volume wholesale environment. In this full-time role, you will oversee all inbound freight, verify shipments, and maintain accurate inventory levels to support member-focused service. You'll schedule, train, and coach a team of associates, optimize workflows, and uphold safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards. Collaborating closely with merchandising and operations, you will use inventory systems, conduct regular counts, resolve discrepancies, and drive continuous improvement in productivity and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily receiving, unloading, and processing of inbound merchandise
• Oversee inventory accuracy through regular counts, audits, and system updates
• Coordinate with merchandising, sales, and logistics to align stock levels with demand
• Lead, train, and schedule receiving and inventory team members
• Monitor dock, backroom, and storage standards for safety, cleanliness, and compliance
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, damages, and shrink issues
• Use warehouse and inventory systems to track shipments, stock, and adjustments
• Enforce safety procedures and equipment use in receiving and storage areas
• Optimize workflows to improve productivity and turnaround times
• Report key inventory and receiving metrics to club and operations leadership
