Delivery Driver (9625) – Forrest City, AR
Full‑time (and part‑time) positions available with immediate hiring. Candidates can choose their schedule and work with either their own vehicle (with mileage reimbursement) or a company‑provided vehicle, subject to a clean driving record and minimum of 2 years driving history.
Job OverviewDrivers are compensated at an average rate exceeding $20 per hour, inclusive of wage, tips, and mileage reimbursement (paid daily and wages paid every other Friday). Technology is leveraged to improve delivery efficiency, enabling higher earnings.
Key Responsibilities- Navigate assigned delivery areas, including multi‑story buildings, using reliable navigation skills and map reading.
- Use safe driving practices to complete multiple deliveries per shift.
- Carry, lift, and deliver pizzas and beverages, often traversing stairs up to five flights.
- Prepare orders, including assembling pizza dough and packaging in cardboard boxes.
- Maintain communication with customers and the store via telephone and in‑vehicle systems.
- Adhere to quality control standards, complete repetitive tasks, and work independently or within a team.
- Respond to changing weather and operational conditions, ensuring timely delivery.
- Record and analyze delivery data as required.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record (Motor Vehicle Report review).
- Reliable personal vehicle and valid insurance, or acceptable use of a company vehicle.
- Ability to read and follow maps and locate addresses within delivery zones.
- Physical capability to walk, carry, climb stairs, bend, reach, and perform repetitive hand tasks for the duration of a shift.
- Excellent customer service and decision‑making skills.
- Capacity to work under stress and meet strict quality and safety standards.
- Varying weather exposures, including temperatures from 36°F to 90°F+.
- Potential exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and hot surfaces including ovens up to 500°F.
- Compact work areas such as walk‑in coolers.
- Manual handling tasks requiring forward bending, crouching, and repeated lifting/reaching.
- Use of one or both hands for tasks such as handling pizza peel, cutter, and boxes.
- Visual and auditory demands: depth perception, near to mid‑range vision, discrimination of hot vs. cold surfaces, and night vision for driving.
