Supply Distribution:
Deliver medical, surgical, and general supplies throughout the hospital in a timely, courteous, and efficient manner to meet the daily operational needs of all departments.

Inventory Documentation & Charging:
Accurately document and record all items issued from the Storeroom, ensuring appropriate departmental charging and accountability in accordance with hospital policies.

Receiving & Verification:
Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips. Report any discrepancies or damaged goods promptly to the supervisor or Materials Manager.

Stocking & Inventory Management:
Stock shelves and storage bins according to established department standards, maintaining adequate inventory levels and ensuring items are readily available when needed. Rotate stock appropriately to ensure first-in, first-out (FIFO) usage and minimize waste due to expired or outdated items.

Inventory Control Procedures:
Assist in cycle counts, audits, and other inventory control procedures to ensure data accuracy within the materials management system. Support the reconciliation of inventory discrepancies as needed.

Cleanliness & Organization:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe Storeroom and supply areas, ensuring supplies are properly labeled, secured, and easily accessible. Follow infection prevention and safety protocols in all storage and distribution activities.

Communication & Customer Service:
Communicate effectively with nursing staff, department leaders, and other hospital personnel regarding supply availability, order status, and special requests. Provide professional and responsive customer service at all times.

Collaboration:


Work closely with the Materials Management team to identify opportunities for process improvement and to support hospital-wide cost savings and efficiency initiatives.

Other Duties as Assigned:
Perform additional tasks or projects as directed by the supervisor or Materials Manager to support departmental goals and ensure uninterrupted hospital operations.
