We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing a team of warehouse associates, and ensuring efficient and accurate handling of inventory. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of warehouse procedures, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Primary responsibilities include supervising and coordinating warehouse activities, supervising warehouse associates including hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, and mentoring staff, ensuring timely, accurate and complete order pulling, ensuring all product received during the shift is stocked properly, demonstrating a strong service quality ethic, coordinating pick planning in conjunction with the Warehouse Manager, utilization of Company's warehouse management system and other technologies available to maximize productivity, handling building security, enforcing safety protocols, and performing other related duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory management systems and warehouse management software, excellent leadership and communication skills, detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities, ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
Qualifications include a high school diploma/GED or equivalent, 2 - 4 years of warehouse operations experience, 1+ years of experience leading and supervising a team. Preferred qualifications include an associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field, 4 - 6 years warehouse experience including in-depth knowledge of all warehouse phases within food service industry, OSHA Forklift operator certificate and experience operating material handling equipment.
