JOB SUMMARY
The position will provide end‑user support services and technical support for installing and configuring computer hardware and software programs. This involves working closely with end‑users as well as external support vendors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Maintain all assigned systems accurately and efficiently (5% of total time).
- Provide end‑user training and support to resolve application and hardware problems promptly and cordially (50%).
- Track IT inventory assets accurately (25%).
- Resolve issues quickly when troubleshooting or notify the appropriate parties (5%).
- Support computer change control management to ensure consistency with company policies (5%).
- Assist in procurement and tracking of IT inventory assets, including hardware evaluation, purchase, employee training, and systems troubleshooting (3%).
- Make recommendations regarding technology standards and improvements to policies, procedures, techniques, facilities, and other matters to enhance departmental effectiveness (3%).
- Accept special projects willingly and complete them promptly (4%).

Education
:
Working towards a 2‑year degree in computer science or a related field.
Experience or training
:
None.
Technology / equipment
:
Strong mechanical/technical ability; exposure to Office 365 applications, Active Directory management, and basic network competencies.
Manual dexterity, visual dexterity, walking, standing, exposure to cold/hot/damp/noisy environments, lifting to 40 lbs (frequency: frequent for most tasks, occasional for lifting).
WORKING ENVIRONMENTMost work is performed in an office environment. There may be exposure to production areas requiring PPE, uniform or protective clothing, and safety equipment.
