Our client in Fort Atkinson, WI is seeking an experienced Supply Chain & Planning Manager to lead purchasing, planning, and end‑to‑end supply chain operations. This role is a blend of strategic leadership and hands‑on execution, responsible for ensuring efficient procurement, accurate planning, and on‑time delivery to customers.

• Lead the overall strategy and execution of the organization’s supply chain management function.
• Manage and develop a team of planners and buyers, overseeing all purchasing activities.
• Own procurement, vendor relations, production planning, logistics, and distribution operations.
• Develop, implement, and sustain a production planning system to ensure on‑time, in‑full delivery.
• Oversee demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory optimization.
• Manage short‑ and long‑term forecast projections to support production and inventory goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, accuracy, and cost savings.
• Develop strong relationships with transportation and logistics partners.
• Conduct regular vendor evaluations to ensure compliance with pricing contracts and agreements.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate supply chain insights to executive leadership.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to identify issues and implement effective solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, ideally within operations, manufacturing, warehouse, or purchasing environments.
• Prior experience leading or managing supply chain or purchasing teams.
• ERP system experience strongly preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
• Proven ability to drive cost savings, process improvements, and operational excellence.
