We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead and oversee fabrication and welding operations on the 2nd Shift at our Fort Atkinson production facility. This role is critical to ensuring operational excellence in safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
The Production Supervisor will manage day‑to‑day activities, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support team development while meeting financial and performance goals. Shift hours are typically Monday‑Thursday 1:30 pm – 12 am, with frequent overtime on Fridays and some Saturdays (50+ hours a week). The position is salaried and exempt.

- Safety Leadership:
Promote and enforce all safety policies and practices and drive participation in safety programs, observations, and reporting. - Staffing & Capacity Management:
Maintain a flexible, cross‑trained workforce to meet production demands and oversee training plans and progress. - Continuous Improvement:
Lead initiatives using lean tools such as 5S, standard work, mistake‑proofing, and kaizen to improve safety, quality, and efficiency. - Team Development &
Coaching:
Ensure team members have essential skills and provide coaching to foster growth and engagement. - Financial Management:
Monitor labor, material variances, factory burden, and overtime; support budgeting and capital expenditure planning. - Supervisor Standard Work:
Conduct daily huddles, coordinate production schedules, audit labor reporting, approve payroll, and maintain performance boards.
- Minimum 2 years in a leadership role and 5 years of manufacturing experience.
- Associate Degree in Production Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Knowledge of ISO 9001‑2015 and ISO 14001‑2015 standards.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational, time‑management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Monday‑Thursday: 1:30 pm – 12:00 am
Friday: 11:30 am – 8:00 pm
Saturday (as needed): 11:30 am – 8:00 pm
