Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician

Salary: $68,000 - $74,000 per year

Relocation Assistance: Not Available

Hourly Rate: Up to $34.00 per hour + daily overtime and double-time on Sundays
- Fort Atkinson, WI Area

Experience Depth: 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience within FDA, GMP, or SQF manufacturing (food, beverage, pharmaceutical).

Fluid Power Mastery: 3+ years of diagnosing, rebuilding, and repairing hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, and pneumatic circuits.

Automation Systems: 3+ years of optimizing and maintaining high-speed conveyor systems, automated sorting machinery, and material handling lines.

Fabrication Aptitude: Proven ability to perform structural welding and custom shop fabrication tasks for equipment modification and repair.

Work Schedule: 2nd shift - full-time, permanent with guaranteed time-and-a-half after 8 hours daily and automatic double-time on Sundays.

Earning Potential: Up to $34.00 per hour baseline + premium overtime multipliers + comprehensive corporate benefits package.

Location: Greater Fort Atkinson, WI area - 100% onsite manufacturing facility.

Compliance: United States Citizens or Green Card holders only; must reside within a dependable daily driving radius of the plant.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Electro-Mechanical Maintenance:
    Execute complex mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and asset repairs across a highly automated production floor.
  • Preventative Maintenance (PMs):
    Rebuild and perform scheduled PMs on automated fluid power systems, pneumatic valves, and heavy-duty hydraulic circuits.
  • Packaging Line Optimization:
    Diagnose, level, and optimize high-speed packaging lines, high-efficiency sorting systems, and specialized sanitary conveyors.
  • Structural Modification:
    Utilize structural welding skills to modify equipment, reinforce frameworks, and support custom shop fabrication tasks as needed.
  • Emergency Breakdown Response:
    Respond promptly to emergency line breakdowns to minimize operational downtime and restore throughput during the 2nd shift window.
  • Asset Tracking Documentation:
    Document all repair actions, parts inventory adjustments, and equipment runtime cycles within the facility's asset management system.
  • Regulatory Compliance Support:
    Uphold strict FDA, GMP, and SQF regulatory compliance and cleanliness standards across all daily maintenance procedures.
