In this high-earning, hands-on role, you will take ownership of maintaining high-speed packaging, automated sorting lines, and fluid power systems across a modern, sanitary plant. With daily overtime pay after 8 hours and automatic double-time on Sundays, your mechanical grit and technical expertise will be aggressively rewarded in a structured, zero-chaos environment.
Daily ResponsibilitiesExecute complex electro-mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across a highly automated production floor during the 2nd shift window.
Maintain and rebuild fluid power systems, diagnosing hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, and pneumatic circuits as part of an aggressive PM program.
Optimize high-speed packaging and sorting lines, leveling sanitary conveyors and fine-tuning automated material handling machinery to eliminate bottlenecks.
Perform emergency breakdown response, rapidly isolating multi-variant faults to minimize downtime and keep production throughput moving safely.
Execute structural welding and custom fabrication, modifying equipment framework and creating custom shop fixtures for line enhancements.
Maintain regulatory compliance, ensuring all maintenance activities strictly align with FDA, GMP, and SQF sanitary standards while logging work orders in the plant CMMS.
Requirements & Qualifications3+ years of regulated manufacturing experience troubleshooting equipment in clean, sanitary environments (Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical, or related FDA/SQF operations).
Fluid Power & Mechanical Mastery: 3+ years of hands-on depth rebuilding and troubleshooting hydraulics, pneumatics, multi-axis drives, and high-speed packaging equipment.
Welding & Fabrication:
Proven ability to perform structural welding and custom shop repairs.
Diagnostic Intuition:
Strong ability to trace electro-mechanical failures and systematically solve root-cause line issues.
2nd Shift Reliability:
