Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Operating Room RN for a 13‑week travel assignment at a hospital in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin – 13‑week travel assignment.

• At least one year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

• ACLS, PALS, or ENPC certifications
• Or Nursing Certification (CNOR)
• Other certifications and licenses as may be required

• Prepare the operating room and ensure instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies are ready for each surgical procedure.
• Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and ensuring comfort and safety during surgery.
• Maintain a sterile field, adhering to infection control and sterile technique protocols.
• Anticipate surgical team needs and provide instruments, supplies, and support promptly to maintain workflow.
• Monitor patient’s condition during surgery, document significant changes, and notify the surgeon.
• Handle surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring proper use, sterilization, and disposal.
• Manage specimen collection, labeling, and transport per facility protocols.
• Document all aspects of patient care in the perioperative setting accurately and thoroughly.
• Participate in hand‑off communication during pre‑ and post‑operative phases to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist in cleaning and restocking the operating room between cases, following infection control and turnover protocols.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and standards.
• Follow hospital safety rules, including proper use of PPE and infection prevention measures.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; proficiency in PC skills.
• Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, bend, and work in a standing position.
• Ability to work effectively with a range of personnel, maintain a positive attitude, and professional demeanor.
• Fine motor skills for manipulation of instruments and equipment.
• Mental resilience to handle frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, and manage irregular schedules.
