Full Time Sales Worker – Fort Atkinson, WI
JOB SUMMARYResponsible for the sale of products throughout the assigned territory in order to meet plan objectives for sales volume, market penetration, and profitability. Perform all sales functions including store resets and grand openings. Present corporate programs, administer pricing policy, negotiate sales agreements, establish service parameters, and write orders. Conduct field sales calls targeting identified customers, brokers, and distributors and further develop accounts with full market potential on products that have not yet been accepted.
ESSENTIALDUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
An essential job duty of this position is regularly reporting to work on time and being able to perform the essential duties of the position.

- Manage broker/distribution/customer network in compliance with company guidelines and provide sales support and training.

- Efficiently handle all product claims and complaints while maintaining positive customer relationships.

- Achieve all assigned volume and trade spending goals set by sales management.

- Execute and implement corporate marketing programs and initiate account‑specific promotions.

- Provide up‑to‑date competitor information.

- Manage and develop Retail Territory Sales representatives to reach their full potential and to meet specified volume, promotional activity, and spending goals, if applicable.
- Conduct regular business and performance evaluations to guide the development of RTSRs, if applicable.

- Make recommendations concerning improvements to policies, procedures, techniques, facilities, and any other matters related to enhancing the effectiveness of the department or company.

- Up to 75% travel.

- Accept special projects and complete them promptly.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience or Training: 3–5 years of previous sales experience, including meat or perishable food background. Must possess excellent negotiation skills, oral and written communication skills, and the ability to close the sale.
Technology/Equipment: Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Bachelor’s degree.
