Position Title:

Maintenance Technician Wage: $30.00-$35.00/hour

Shift: 2nd, 3rd

Hours:

2:00pm-1:00am, 8:00pm-6:00amQPS is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, improving, and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of corrugated converting equipment, as well as completing general facility maintenance. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude and experience with mechanical systems, basic electrical troubleshooting, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, fabrication, and equipment repair within a manufacturing environment. This is a direct hire opportunity in Fort Atkinson, WI.Maintenance

Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production machinery and equipment

Perform preventative maintenance according to established schedules and procedures

Read and interpret maintenance manuals, electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and parts lists to complete repairs and installations

Conduct routine equipment inspections to ensure proper operation, efficiency, and reliability

Perform mechanical, basic electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and fabrication repairs

Operate cutting torches and welding equipment to cut, repair, or join metal components

Repair and maintain facility structures, including interior and exterior building maintenance

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Follow all lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety requirements when performing maintenance tasks

Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Produce quality work while understanding job requirements and priorities

Demonstrate sound judgment and problem-solving skills

Learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities

Work independently with minimal supervision

Communicate effectively with team members and leadership

Maintain a positive attitude and work effectively with others

Accept direction and feedback from supervisors

Take initiative and contribute to team success

Support training and knowledge sharing when needed

Follow all safety policies and procedures

Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Maintain a clean and organized work area Safely operate tools, equipment, and machinery

Report to work on time and maintain dependable attendance

Follow scheduled break times and company timekeeping procedures

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment

Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery

Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and fabrication processes

Corrugated industry experience or familiarity with sheet plant machinery is preferred but not required

Regular exposure to moving mechanical equipment and machinery

Frequent exposure to manufacturing environments, including wet and/or humid conditions

Occasional exposure to heights, fumes, airborne particles, and vibration

Work environment may be loud Proper PPE is required at all times, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear

Ability to stand, walk, and communicate effectively throughout the workday

Frequently use hands for handling tools, equipment, and materials

Ability to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed

Ability to occasionally sit Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds

Must have adequate vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focusIND
