Lead Industrial Electrician – Automation & Controls (2nd Shift)

  • Compensation & Premium Overtime: $42.00 to $44.00/hr starting baseline, with daily overtime (1.5x time-and-a-half after 8 hours/day), double-time (2.0x) on Sundays, full corporate benefits, and 100% company-paid tuition reimbursement.

    Dedicated 2nd Shift. High stability serving as the Lead Technical Resource overseeing code compliance, electrical safety, and automation uptime for 2nd shift operations.

What You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)
  • Serve as Shift Technical Lead:
    Act as the primary 2nd shift technical authority for troubleshooting, installing, and repairing plant electrical infrastructure, automated panels, and control circuits.
  • Execute Active Logic Diagnostics:
    Trace complex electrical schematics and blueprints to rapidly diagnose component failures and minimize production downtime.
  • Ensure NEC & Code Compliance:
    Perform all electrical repairs, rewiring, hardware updates, and component upgrades in strict accordance with National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines.
  • Maintain Master Documentation:
    Log daily shift maintenance activity, complete preventative maintenance (PM) workflows, and update electrical drawings to reflect active field modifications.
  • Manage Overhead Infrastructure:
    Safely access, inspect, and service overhead power distribution networks using ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts.
  • Uphold Plant Safety & Sanitation:
    Maintain an organized workstation adhering to 5S standards, allergen controls, and high-hygiene manufacturing protocols.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications)
  • Industrial Electrical Background: 1+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in automated manufacturing, packaging, or continuous-processing facilities.
  • Regulated Industry Exposure:
    Prior experience in food manufacturing, beverage processing, or similar highly regulated hygiene/safety environments preferred.
  • Technical Schematic Literacy:
    Expert ability to read and interpret multi-page electrical schematics, three-phase power diagrams, and control logic prints.
