Duties

  • If selected at the GS-11 level, duties will be performed in a developmental capacity:
  • Serve as primary coordinator for enterprise task management systems; log, assign, and track incoming deliverables and action items to ensure timely completion.
  • Evaluate completed staff actions, reports, and correspondence for administrative quality, logical flow, and strict compliance with organizational policies.
  • Manage communication and task routing between internal departments, external partner organizations, government agencies, and corporate representatives.
  • Oversee comprehensive employee onboarding and offboarding programs, coordinating with HR, security, and IT to ensure seamless personnel transitions.
  • Track workforce strength, manage personnel training databases, and monitor compliance with mandatory professional development and continuing education requirements.
  • Support budget administration by tracking expenditures, reviewing contract invoices, and executing micro-purchases in compliance with financial regulations.
  • Administer organizational recognition and incentive award programs, managing the end-to-end processing, review, and routing of employee submissions.

Qualifications

To qualify for a Legal Administrative Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support:

  • Specialized

    Experience:

    One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-11 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector.

    To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement.

    Creditable specialized experience includes:

  • Manage tracking systems and workflow databases to route, monitor, and quality-control administrative correspondence; ensure timely resolution of critical action items while maintaining strict data security.
