Mission Trainer / Team Lead
Position Summary
The Mission Trainer / Team Lead serves as the senior training authority responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, and delivering intelligence training programs to Army and Intelligence Community personnel. This individual leads training teams, develops curriculum aligned with Army and TRADOC standards, and ensures personnel readiness to operate intelligence systems and perform mission functions.
Minimum Education Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence, Education, Military Science, Information Systems, or related field
Education substitution:
Associate’s degree and additional 4 years of intelligence training or operational experience, OR
High school diploma/GED and additional 8 years of intelligence training or operational experience
Minimum Experience Requirement
Minimum 12 years of intelligence experience, including:
At least 5 years developing or delivering intelligence training, AND
At least 3 years serving in a leadership, instructor, or training management role
Required Clearance
Active DoD TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility/access
Required Certifications
Must meet DoDD 8140 (formerly DoD 8570) IAT Level II certification, if accessing intelligence systems
Army instructor certification, military instructor qualification, or equivalent preferred
Required Skills and Experience
Experience developing training materials, lesson plans, and curriculum
Experience delivering classroom and operational training to military personnel
Experience supporting mission rehearsals, exercises, and simulations
Familiarity with Army intelligence systems such as:
DCGS-A
Intelligence dissemination and analysis systems
Knowledge of TRADOC training development standards
Ability to evaluate training effectiveness and student performance
Leadership Responsibilities
Lead and supervise mission trainers and training staff
Develop training plans and schedules
Coordinate training support with Government leadership
Ensure training meets Army and mission requirements
Maintain training documentation and readiness records
Preferred Qualifications
Prior INSCOM or Army intelligence training experience
Former military intelligence instructor, senior analyst, or training NCOIC
Experience supporting distributed or multi-site training environments
