SUMMARY
The Systems Engineer shall provide technical consultation, training, and support to IT staff as designated by the Government, and diagnose and resolve complex communication problems.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide technical consultation, training, and support
- Working knowledge/experience of ELMS/DPAS
- Must have in-depth knowledge and proven experience in Digital Communications Satellite Subsystem (DCSS), IP Networking, IP and Frequency Division Multiple Access modems, and RF spectrum analysis for communications systems coverage and access, communications network loading, modeling and simulation, and current and future DoD Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Gateway subsystems and DCSS in support of Defense Information Systems Network services.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in SATCOM, local area network/wide area network terrestrial switched and Internet Protocol (IP)-based communications networks, technologies, and standards as related to DoD Army PdM WESS baseband mission;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science;
- Active Secret DoD Clearance required
- Some travel may be required

The estimated annual wage range at the time of job posting is $75-115k, which represents the typical salary range for this position.
