Systems​/Test Engineer

SYSTEMS/TEST ENGINEER

The Systems/Test Engineer will provide engineering expertise to upgrade and modernize SATCOM systems for our DoD customer voir, VA.

• Performs high-level systems analysis, evaluation, design, and documentation of very complex applications that require a thorough knowledge of administrative and technical skills.
• Directs and participates in all phases of system development, with emphasis on planning, analysis, evaluation, testing and acceptance phases (IV&V and DT&E).
• Applies higher-level business or technical principles and methods to very difficult technical problems to arrive at automated engineering solutions.
• Develops and maintains earth terminal acceptance and equipment test plans.
• Supports spectrum supportability requirements for satellite terminal and modem equipment.
• Prepares and submits spectrum management data, frequency requests, and host nation approval requests.

• Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience & Master's degree in related field; OR
• Minimum of 7 years of applicable experience & Bachelor's degree in related field; OR
• Minimum of 9 years of applicable experience & Bachelor's degree in any field.

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance

• Some travel required

The estimated annual wage range at the time of job posting is $75-130k, which represents the typical salary range for this position.
