Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a talented Missile Defense Engineer (TS/SCI) to join our team! In this role you will explore the performance implications of missile defense architecture variations against forward‑looking threats using modeling and simulation, and assess applications of AI to missile defense concepts.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Bring your understanding of missile defense concepts and technologies to assess wide‑ranging architecture concept variations.
- Formulate analysis questions and build analysis plans.
- Rapidly build, modify, and adapt modeling and simulation tools to answer novel questions.
- Seek out technical innovations with the potential to improve missile defense performance.
- Prepare and present briefings at senior leadership levels.
- Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of related experience.
- Top Secret clearance.
- Ability to perform physics‑based analysis at a high level.
- Prior experience with Python, C++, MATLAB, and similar tools.
- Modeling and simulation development coding in Python, C++, MATLAB, and similar tools.
- GNC and interceptor modeling.
- RF and EO/IR phenomenology, sensor design, and sensor performance modeling.
- Fast‑turn modeling of threat objects, scenario variations, signatures for sensitivity analysis and exploration of break points.
- Application of AI to concept exploration and analysis.
An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.
