Responsibilities & Qualifications
We are seeking a Software Systems Engineer
.
Experience
- 5+ years relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.
- IAT Level I
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority
- Secret IT II
- Formulates/defines specifications for complex operating software programming applications or modifies/maintains complex existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer.
- Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents programs.
- Provides overall operating system maintenance, such as sophisticated file maintenance routines, large telecommunications networks, computer accounting, and advanced mathematical/scientific software packages.
- Assists all phases of software systems programming applications.
- Evaluates new and existing software products.

Target salary range: $90,000 – $140,000. Salary determined based on experience, education, skills, and contract parameters.
