- Provide technical leadership for engineering and modernization of voice infrastructure supporting Army Public Safety Answering Points under the Product Director Base Emergency Communication System
- Sustain current voice systems while supporting migration to modern, interoperable NG-911 voice services
- Provide engineering support for NG-911 voice infrastructure modernization, including GIS/LIS data integration for accurate 911 call routing and handling
- Support system implementation, integration, and testing of voice infrastructure to ensure interoperability with CAD, CHE, and LMR systems
- Provide subject matter expertise on VoIP, SIP, Session Border Controllers, and enterprise voice architecture for public safety systems
- Troubleshoot call routing and quality issues with operational consequences
- Coordinate directly with cybersecurity and integration teams
- Coordinate with cybersecurity personnel to ensure voice systems comply with Army and DoW cybersecurity regulations
- Active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain
- Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline
- Twelve (12) years supporting enterprise voice systems, telecommunications engineering, VoIP, SIP, ESINet, NG-911, or similar public safety communications environments
- Experience or knowledge of Cisco Collaboration
- Experience or knowledge of Ribbon
- Experience or knowledge of Oracle Session Border Controller (SBC)
- Knowledge of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)
- Knowledge of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)
- Experience with ESINet implementation
- Knowledge of NENA standards
Demonstrates expertise in engineering and modernization of voice infrastructure, particularly in NG-911 services, while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity regulations. Proficient in troubleshooting and integrating voice systems with public safety technologies.
