Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Dev Sec Ops Engineer who is responsible for deploying devops and security tooling for a DOD program. This is a great contract-to-hire opportunity in the Cleared Cybersecurity space. Responsibilities for the Dev Sec Ops Engineer:
* Assist the Lead with the planning and design effort for all tasks in the backlog (e.g. POA&M items, component upgrades, feature requests, bug fixes)
* Implement the tasks in the backlog (e.g. POA&M items, component upgrades, feature requests, bug fixes)
* Review changes
* Update the Body of Evidence (BOE) with each release
Minimum Qualifications for the Dev Sec Ops Engineer:
* TS/SCI
* 3+ years of experience using Agile methodologies in the system development life cycle
* 3+ years of experience with Incrastructure-as-Code / Configuration-as-Code (Terraform)
* 3 years of experience with Kubernetes
* 3 years experience with Commercial Cloud Services
* 1 year of experience with Git Ops (FlexCD or ArgoCD)
* 1 year of experience with Helm
* Security Hardening (STIG, patching, CVE [vulnerability] assessments)
* BS in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics with 3 years of experience as an engineer Or 8 years of experience without a degree
Compensation for the Dev Sec Ops Engineer:
* Salary range: $150,
* depending on experience
