Cybersecurity Project Manager Security Clearance

Responsibilities

Amyx is looking to hire a Cybersecurity Project Manager. This position will serve as the project manager for a large, complex task order for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and shall assist the Program Manager in working with the Government to support DLA. Majority of the work will be performed at the government facilities located at DLA Land and Maritime, 3990

E. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio;
Ft. Belvoir, Virginia; or HDIFC 74 N Washington Ave, Battle Creek, MI.

The Cybersecurity Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the specific task order and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner. They will perform enterprise-wide horizontal integration planning and interface with other functional systems. The role also includes:

• Participate in 24x7x365 monitoring of SIEM and other cybersecurity monitoring tools to detect and respond to cybersecurity threats.
• Perform actions to protect, monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to unauthorized activity.
• Employ cybersecurity capabilities and deliberate actions to respond to specific alerts or emerging threats.
• Review logged events for trends indicative of attack or compromise within the environment.
• Actively monitor logs and traffic for Advanced Persistent Threats (APT) and “low and slow” attacks.
• Maintain awareness of possible threats using intelligence resources including OSINT.
• Provide technical analysis and sustainment support for enterprise cybersecurity tools and applications, assisting with the application of Defense‑In‑Depth signatures and perimeter defense controls to diminish network threats.

Minimum Requirements:

• Demonstrated leadership experience in projects of similar size and complexity ($5 million dollars over 5 years).
• Six years (6) general IT experience.
• Six years (6) cybersecurity experience.
• Risk Management Professional (RMP) credential.
• PMP or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of RMF.
• Must possess a DOD Secret Clearance and be eligible for an IT‑II Non‑Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) upon assignment; CERT Analysts must possess a DOD TOP SECRET Clearance and be eligible for an IT‑I Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 5 (T5).
• Must have Baseline Certification for IAM III when onboarding and must have one of the “Computer Network Defense” CE Certifications within six (6) months of onboarding.
