About the role
Kaimetrix is seeking a Database Administrator – Level III to support the day-to-day management and maintenance of enterprise database systems in a secure, mission-critical environment. This role ensures the availability, performance, integrity, and security of critical data assets while supporting database operations and administration activities.
What you’ll do- Perform database installation, configuration, performance monitoring, and security administration
- Execute backup and recovery operations to ensure data protection and system continuity
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization to ensure efficient database performance
- Assist in defining functional requirements, data relationships, and storage needs for database systems
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures, maintenance guides, and knowledge base documentation for database platforms
- Participate in on‑call support and assist with resolving database‑related issues to maintain system availability
- Support implementation of database security measures and ensure adherence to security policies
Education/
Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in database administration or related data management roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Certifications:
- Advanced cybersecurity or database certification such as CISSP, CASP+, Microsoft Azure Data certification, Oracle Database Administration certification, or equivalent
Clearance:
- Active Tier 3 (T3) background investigation or ability to obtain and maintain it
