About the role
Kaimetrix is seeking a Technical Subject Matter Expert – Level IV to provide senior-level technical and management leadership for complex technology initiatives in a mission-critical environment. This role is responsible for delivering expert guidance, establishing goals and plans, and ensuring technical requirements are met across programs, systems, and operational environments.
What you'll do
- Provide technical and management leadership for major tasks and technology assignments across the organization
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of technical domain data requirements, system architecture, and relevant technologies
- Analyze and interpret system architecture, data sources, and overall industry trends to inform technical direction
- Establish goals, plans, and strategies to ensure successful delivery of technical requirements
- Direct financial management, methods, and staffing to support mission and program objectives
- Serve as a site lead and coordinate technical activities across multiple teams or locations
- Provide leadership and guidance to SME, engineering, and security staff
- Perform complex technical tasks independently with minimal supervision and provide oversight for junior personnel
- Ensure alignment of technical solutions with mission needs, operational requirements, and organizational objectives
Qualifications
Education/
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in technical leadership or subject matter expertise roles
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Certifications:
- Advanced certification such as CISSP, ISACA CISM, ISACA CISA aligned to DoD requirements
- Active Tier 3 (T3) background investigation or ability to obtain and maintain
